Williams Realty Partners (WRP) is excited to announce their partnership with North Berwick Hannaford this holiday season. The two businesses are partnering together on Sunday, December 10, 2017 to host a food drive to benefit House of Hope based in Berwick, Maine. This is one of many events throughout the month celebrating the WRP Month of Giving.

Jordyn Koelker and Tristan Swanson of Williams Realty Partners will be at the North Berwick Hannaford on December 10th from 10am-2pm collecting nonperishable food and monetary donations. This family friendly food drive includes hot cocoa tours of the WRP Trolley. Swanson details more about the event, “Jordyn [Koelker] and I want to do our part in helping people in need. We had a great turn out at our food drive at Hannaford in York and decided to reach out to Hannaford in North Berwick to do the same thing at their location. They agreed and we couldn’t be happier. The House of Hope is an amazing organization with a great new facility. Our goal is to give them a kick start to helping others! I want to stress that any amount of support is fantastic.  If you would rather give your time to the House of Hope reach out to them directly and they can suggest the best way for you to volunteer.  Otherwise, please bring your donations to the event on the 10th and check out the Williams Realty Partners Trolley! The kids will love it!”

The beneficiary, House of Hope, is a safe place for those with a need to receive nourishment for the body, heart and soul. Their location is strategically situated between two under-served communities – Somersworth, NH and Berwick, ME. “At the House of Hope we served more than 14,000 meals and over 1,000 people shopped in our pantry, just last year alone. I’d like to thank everyone in advance for contributing to the food drive in such a meaningful way,” explains Mike Henessey, Executive Director at House of Hope. The ministry operates a fully functional soup kitchen, food pantry and transitional house for men with the intent of growing into a deeper and broader scope as opportunity presents.

"I grew up in Berwick and really wanted to participate in helping out a charity of my home town this holiday season. After speaking with a representative from the House of Hope and hearing his excitement that we wanted to contribute to raise awareness and encourage people to make food donations, I knew we made the right choice. I was also ecstatic to hear that they are raising money to try to build a community youth center. We will collect cash donations as well as non-perishable items to put toward their goal to bring this youth center to fruition. Community involvement is important so that no one is alone or hungry ever, especially during the holidays. We are really happy to help,” Koelker enthusiastically states.
