An old saying back in the day was "The cream always rises to the top" In 2016 my wife and I were prospecting the York area for a potential permanent home to make our retirement residence. We met Troy when he was a young buck starting out in the business. Although we did not buy the home, I mentioned to my wife that guy has talent. We spent a number of years searching the area and did not associate with any particular realtor as I did not want to waste their time or sign a buyers agreement locking us in with them. In 2018 I noticed Troy now had his own agency . Business instinct prompted me to call him. I told him we were diligently looking but did not wish to sign a buyers agreement which locked me into a realtor. I told him our history and wanted him to find us a home we would like. I would not play games to waste his time as some may do. He personally showed us many houses and educated us to the market. Eventually we gravitated to the Nubble Light House area and started to examine homes there. He let one of his best Realtors Maureen Hogan take over the process as she lived in the area. She also evidenced the qualities of a professional who exceeded a customers expectations by their knowledge, integrity and personal commitment to the clients needs beyond making the sale. As the company grows in size may the founders and employees remember a slogan I used years ago, "Big enough to serve you, small enough to remember you after the sale."
