Energy Efficiency Rebates & Incentives | Ask Troy

Q. Cold weather is coming, and the price of everything seems to be going up. Any tips on home energy efficiency?

Glad you asked, because we’re thinking about the same thing! A protracted war in Ukraine is making for an unstable oil supply, and that instability affects prices. And regardless of any foreign wars, a fuel-efficient home or business is always going to be in your best interest.

Recently, we invited the staff of The Efficiency Maine Trust to come to our office and give a presentation to our team so we could pass that knowledge on to our clients. There is rebate and incentive money available through Efficiency Maine to home and business owners to retrofit buildings, making them far more efficient to heat and cool. This can translate into a lot of money saved over the coming years.

See the chart below for a quick idea of what’s available, or drop us a quick email at jenna@williamsrealtypartners and we’ll forward you what’s on offer through Efficiency Maine in its entirety. Just reference “Efficiency Maine” in the subject line.
